Job description

We are looking for a Wedding Sales and Marketing Manager in Cavan. The new manager is responsible for developing innovative strategies to drive wedding bookings. This role combines creative thinking, sales acumen, and a customer-centered approach to provide exceptional service to potential clients. The Wedding Sales and Marketing Manager will lead efforts in market analysis, client engagement, and revenue generation, ensuring that the venue remains competitive and sought-after in the wedding industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Idea Generation

  • Develop and implement new ideas and strategies to attract couples to the venue, aligning with market trends and client expectations.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify customer needs, competitive offerings, and potential areas for differentiation.
  • Work with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns, both online and offline, that showcase the venue’s unique qualities and appeal to the target demographic.

Sales and Customer Engagement

  • Act as the primary point of contact for couples interested in booking the venue, providing guided tours and personalized consultations to showcase venue features and wedding packages.
  • Build strong relationships with clients by understanding their vision and needs, ensuring a personalized and supportive experience from initial inquiry through to the booking phase.
  • Work with the sales team to ensure smooth communication and follow-up with potential clients, converting leads into confirmed bookings.

Marketing and Promotions

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and manage social media content, email marketing, and promotional materials tailored to the wedding market.
  • Coordinate with photographers, influencers, and other marketing channels to create compelling visuals and stories that promote the venue.
  • Organize open days, bridal fairs, and special events that showcase the venue to potential clients, generating interest and brand awareness.

KPI Tracking and Performance Optimization

  • Set and achieve KPIs related to lead generation, sales conversions, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth.
  • Use CRM software to track inquiries, bookings, and client interactions, ensuring accurate reporting and effective sales follow-ups.
  • Continuously analyze sales data and client feedback to refine strategies and improve overall performance.

Collaboration with Internal and External Teams

  • Work closely with the operations team to ensure that the venue’s facilities, amenities, and services are aligned with client expectations.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with florists, caterers, and other wedding vendors to create value-added offerings and strengthen the venue’s market positioning.
  • Communicate effectively with finance and upper management to align budgetary and strategic goals.
