Job Title: General Operative / Warehouse Operative

Location: Dublin

Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:30am – 5:00pm | Friday 8:30am – 4:00pm

Reporting To: Warehouse Manager

Salary: €31,000 – €35,000 (DOE)

Role Summary

We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated General Operative to join a busy warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for picking and packing orders, loading and unloading deliveries, stock handling, and providing excellent service to customers visiting the warehouse.

This is a hands-on role suited to an individual with previous warehouse experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles safely.
• Receive, check, and store incoming stock.
• Assist with stock control and inventory management.
• Operate warehouse equipment and machinery in a safe manner.
• Use a counterbalance forklift where required (if licensed).
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment.
• Assist customers collecting orders and provide a professional level of customer service.
• Follow all company procedures and health & safety guidelines.
• Support colleagues and management with general warehouse duties as required.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Previous experience with picking, packing, loading, and unloading goods.
• Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
• Basic English language skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good level of physical fitness and ability to undertake manual handling tasks.

Desirable Requirements

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
• Candidates with forklift operating experience but without a current licence will also be considered.
• Experience working within a fast-paced distribution, logistics, or wholesale environment.
