Job Title: Transport Administrator

Overview
We are currently recruiting a Transport Administrator to support the day-to-day management of a busy vehicle fleet. This role is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and prior experience in a transport or fleet administration role. You will work closely with the Transport Manager and wider team to ensure the smooth running of the fleet.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule fleet inspections, servicing, and maintenance.
- Review and analyse service sheets while maintaining accurate records in line with relevant legislation.
- Monitor vehicle defects and ensure they are addressed promptly.
- Support the Transport Manager and wider team with fleet administration.
- Manage the addition and removal of vehicles from the fleet, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Oversee vehicle taxation and maintain compliance.
- Organise MOT appointments and coordinate with the transport team.
- Carry out additional administrative duties as required.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a transport or fleet administration role is essential.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Good administrative and record-keeping abilities.
- A full B driving licence would be an advantage but is not required.
