Job Title: Transport Administrator
Location: Dublin, County Dublin
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: €15.15 per hour
Work Location: On-site

Overview

We are currently recruiting a Transport Administrator to support the day-to-day management of a busy vehicle fleet. This role is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and prior experience in a transport or fleet administration role. You will work closely with the Transport Manager and wider team to ensure the smooth running of the fleet.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule fleet inspections, servicing, and maintenance.
  • Review and analyse service sheets while maintaining accurate records in line with relevant legislation.
  • Monitor vehicle defects and ensure they are addressed promptly.
  • Support the Transport Manager and wider team with fleet administration.
  • Manage the addition and removal of vehicles from the fleet, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.
  • Oversee vehicle taxation and maintain compliance.
  • Organise MOT appointments and coordinate with the transport team.
  • Carry out additional administrative duties as required.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a transport or fleet administration role is essential.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Good administrative and record-keeping abilities.
  • A full B driving licence would be an advantage but is not required.
