Noel Group is proud to represent a market leading and well established manufacturer within the plumbing and heating industry. We are seeking a confident and technically knowledgeable individual to join their team in a nationwide Technical Product Demonstrator role.

This position is ideal for someone with strong plumbing knowledge who enjoys engaging with merchants and installers, is comfortable communicating daily, and wants to build a long term career in a field based technical role.

The Role

You will act as a technical ambassador for the brand across Ireland.

Your objective will be to increase product adoption, strengthen installer loyalty, support merchant engagement, and ensure correct product application through practical demonstrations and structured trade visits.

This is a field focused role built around trade mornings, merchant engagement, and structured regional coverage.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent the brand at trade mornings, exhibitions and merchant events
• Deliver hands on product demonstrations and toolbox talks
• Provide practical advice based on real domestic plumbing systems
• Maintain regular phone communication with merchants and trade contacts
• Support the sales team with technical insight and product knowledge
• Build strong working relationships with merchant branch managers and counter staff
• Gather installer feedback and relay structured insights internally
• Maintain demonstration equipment and presentation materials
• Manage your own schedule in line with the six week coverage plan

Candidate Requirements

• Strong plumbing knowledge is essential
• Fully qualified plumber is not required
• Candidates currently in training or developing their trade skills can be considered
• Experience within merchant environments or trade shows is highly desirable
• International plumbing experience can be considered where systems are comparable
• Good understanding of domestic plumbing systems is beneficial
• Must have been actively working within plumbing in recent years
• Candidates not working in plumbing for four to five years will not be considered
• High attention to detail
• Comfortable making frequent phone calls and communicating clearly
• Professional, organised and self motivated
• Full clean driving licence

• Salary is not dependent on full trade qualification

What Success Looks Like

Within your first year you will be independently delivering trade demonstrations, operating confidently within the six week rota, building strong merchant relationships, and contributing to increased product awareness and installer engagement across your region.
