Job description

Noel Group is looking for a dedicated and reliable Store Assistant to join our client team. As a store assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that customers have a positive shopping experience. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including customer service, stock management, and maintaining store cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers warmly and assist with their inquiries and purchases.
  • Receive, unpack, and arrange stock on shelves.
  • Ensure products are accurately priced and labelled.
  • Assist with stock rotation and ensure products are within their sell-by dates.
  • Operate cash registers, process transactions accurately, and handle cash, credit, and debit card payments.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy store environment, including sweeping floors, cleaning shelves, and disposing of rubbish.
  • Assist in setting up promotional displays and ensuring store signage is up-to-date.


  • Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
