Job Title: Staff Nurse
Location: Kinsale, Co. Cork
Contract: Full-Time
We are currently recruiting a Staff Nurse on behalf of a well-established care centre in Kinsale, Co. Cork. This role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive, resident- focused environment with strong emphasis on professional development, staff wellbeing, and career progression.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Experience working with older persons
- Excellent communication skills and fluent English
- Strong knowledge of HIQA standards
- A valid NMBI decision letter
- A valid NMBI PIN
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Director of Care, Clinical Nurse Manager, and Senior Staff Nurse in the delivery of high-quality care
- Maintain the highest professional, ethical, and clinical standards
- Adhere to NMBI guidelines on medication administration and the Misuse of Drugs Act
- Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Maintain excellent working relationships with staff at all levels
- Ensure strict confidentiality of all information acquired during the course of employment
- Deliver induction training to new nursing and care staff
- Ensure residents receive individualised, person-centred assessments and care plans, reviewed and updated as care needs change
- Provide holistic nursing care tailored to each resident’s needs
- Develop positive, professional relationships with residents and their families, ensuring clear and effective communication
- Supervise and allocate duties to care assistants
