The Noel Group is proud to partner with a prestigious client in the hospitality industry to search for an experienced Sous Chef in Co. Cork.
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented culinary professional to join a well-established hospitality operation known for its high food standards, strong kitchen culture, and exceptional guest experience. The successful candidate will support the Head Chef in the day-to-day management of the kitchen while ensuring consistency, creativity, and operational excellence throughout service.
The Duties
- Support the Head Chef in the daily management of kitchen operations.
- Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes in line with company standards.
- Supervise and support kitchen staff during service periods.
- Assist with menu planning, food development, and daily specials.
- Monitor food quality, presentation, and portion control standards.
- Manage stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships.
- Ensure HACCP compliance and maintain all food safety procedures.
- Assist with staff training, mentoring, and development.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment.
- Support cost control and minimise food waste where possible.
The Must Requirements to Be Considered
- Must have experience in Hospitality.
- Must have experience in the same role or be ready to step forward in their career.
- Previous experience working within a busy professional kitchen environment.
- Strong understanding of HACCP and food safety regulations.
- Ability to lead and motivate kitchen teams during busy service periods.
- Passion for food quality, creativity, and operational excellence.
- Living in Ireland and have the right to work in ROI.
- Visa and relocation packages are not provided.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: €45,000 per annum negotiable depending on experience.
