The Noel Group is proud to partner with a prestigious client in the hospitality industry to search for an experienced Sous Chef for a luxury hospitality property based in Cork, in Castlemartyr
As Sous Chef, you will play a key leadership role within the kitchen brigade, supporting the Head Chef in the daily operation of the kitchen while ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency across all food offerings.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining exceptional culinary standards, supporting and mentoring junior chefs, assisting with menu development, stock control, HACCP compliance, and ensuring smooth service delivery in a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment.
The Duties
- Support the Head Chef in the daily management of kitchen operations.
- Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.
- Lead and motivate the kitchen team during service.
- Assist with menu planning, food costing, and seasonal menu development.
- Monitor stock control and minimise food waste.
- Ensure all HACCP and food safety standards are maintained.
- Train and mentor junior members of the kitchen brigade.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment.
- Work closely with front-of-house teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
The Must-Requirements to be Considered
- Must have experience in Hospitality.
- Must have experience in the same role or be ready to step forward in the career.
- Previous experience within a busy hotel, resort, or high-volume restaurant environment.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP and food safety procedures.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for high-quality food and hospitality service.
- Living in Ireland and have the right to work in ROI.
- Visa and Relocation packages are not provided.
