Job description

We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join their faced-paced team in Limerick. Immediate start is available for the candidate with a minimum of 2 years’ experience.
  • Assist the Chef in culinary & overseeing kitchen activities
  • Prevent cross contamination while preparing food
  • Follow dish specifications & utilise portions control
  • Prepare, cook and present food for all necessary areas
  • Ensure stock and food rotation
  • Assist with preparation for stocktaking & assist with stocktaking
  • Adhere to the HACCP procedures
  • Place orders for food, beverages and other wares as required
  • Ensure that SOPs for all dishes, working areas and equipment are implemented and followed
  • Check and ensure all goods are delivered upon delivery, in line with the order book and delivery note
  • Stock rotation and wastage procedures to be carried out
  • Assist in training & development of staff
