Social Care Worker

Location: Louth (Preferably near Drogheda)
Contract Type: Full-time Perm
Salary: €18-€21 per hour

Requirements: CORU registered (active registration), experience in residential care, full clean Irish driver’s licence, must be based locally

We are seeking an experienced Social Care Worker to join a residential care team supporting children and adults with intellectual disabilities. This is a hands-on role based in a house near Drogheda, requiring someone highly motivated, reliable, and skilled at providing personalised care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality residential care to individuals with intellectual disabilities
• Support daily living activities: personal care, cooking, cleaning, laundry, attending appointments, and community engagement
• Facilitate education, skills development, and achievement of personal goals
• Communicate effectively and empathetically with individuals with intellectual disabilities
• Follow all relevant policies, procedures, regulations, and codes of practice

Candidate Requirements:

• CORU registration (active) – applications pending will not be considered
• Experience in residential care
• Full clean Irish driving licence
• High standard of English and strong communication skills
• Positive attitude, reliability, and passion for supporting others
• Based in Louth, preferably near Drogheda
