Site Engineer

Nationwide (Site-Based) | €60,000 – €70,000 DOE + Company Vehicle

Overview

We are currently working with a well-established contractor delivering specialist construction projects across Ireland.

Due to continued growth, there is a requirement for a Site Engineer to join the business and support the delivery of projects nationwide. This role offers strong exposure to technically demanding work, alongside a structured and well-managed environment.

The Role

Reporting to the Contracts Manager, the Site Engineer will play a key role in the day-to-day coordination and execution of site activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

This position requires a proactive individual who can plan ahead, coordinate effectively, and maintain strong communication across site teams and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily site activities, including labour allocation and sequencing of works to meet programme milestones
• Ensure all site operations are carried out safely and in line with quality and compliance standards
• Manage material procurement and deliveries to maintain workflow and avoid delays
• Liaise with design and project teams to ensure all technical details are resolved ahead of installation
• Maintain regular communication with the Contracts Manager, providing updates on progress and upcoming workfronts

Candidate Profile

• Degree qualified in Construction, Engineering or a related discipline
• Previous site experience within construction, with a strong understanding of site operations
• Ability to plan ahead, identify risks and proactively resolve issues
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate teams and subcontractors
• Positive, driven attitude with a focus on delivering high-quality work

Working Hours

• Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
• Friday: 8:00am – 3:00pm

This role offers structured and consistent working hours, supporting a balanced working environment.

Remuneration & Benefits

• €60,000 – €70,000 salary, depending on experience
