Site Engineer

Location: Kildare

Noel Group are hiring a Site Engineer for their client located in Kildare.

The ideal candidate will be a skilled communicator as they will be liaising with a multidisciplinary team including consultants, contractors and the general workforce. You must be able to read drawings and plans as you will be required to supervise, coordinate and participate in setting out and leveling sites. You will be required to be a quick thinker as you will be tasked with resolving any unexpected technical difficulties as they arise

Your day will consist of supporting the project manager with the daily running of the project, with a keen drive towards an embedded HS&E culture. You will attend regular meetings to keep all relevant people informed on progress. While overseeing the quality control and safety measures on site, you will also be supervising staff and contractors.

Responsibilities:

• Overall surveying of sites
• Quality management and BCAR co-ordination
• Coordinate Toolbox talks
• Checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations

Requirements:

• Engineer Degree
• Strong Communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
• Organised and can work to targets
• Previous experience in a similar role desirable
