Senior Chef
Location: Douglas, Cork
Salary: €40,000 – €45,000 DOE
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
About the Role
Noel Group is proud to partner with a well-established client based in Cork to recruit an experienced Senior Chef for their busy and highly regarded kitchen team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate culinary professional looking to take the next step in their career within a well-established restaurant known for its high standards, quality ingredients, and exceptional customer experience.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of the kitchen, supporting the Head Chef in delivering consistently high-quality dishes while maintaining excellent food safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the management and day-to-day running of the kitchen.
- Prepare and present dishes to a consistently high standard.
- Support and supervise junior members of the kitchen team.
- Ensure all food preparation and service comply with HACCP regulations.
- Assist with stock control, ordering, and minimising waste.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient working environment.
- Contribute to menu development and seasonal specials where appropriate.
- Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation across all service periods.
- Work collaboratively with the wider management and front-of-house teams.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a Senior Chef, Senior CDP, Sous Chef, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, kitchen operations, and food safety standards.
- HACCP certification or a thorough understanding of HACCP procedures.
- Ability to perform well in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support team members.
- A passion for high-quality food and customer satisfaction.
- Full legal entitlement to work in Ireland.
