Job Opportunity: Senior Administrator – Public Sector Projects
Location: Dublin Area
Salary: €59,417
Contract Duration: Until 31st October 2026
Annual Leave: 30 days per annum
Summary of Role:
Noel Group We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Project Administrator to support the delivery of key strategic initiatives across the local government sector. The role involves coordination with stakeholders, budget management, reporting, and supporting governance and project delivery. This is a senior administrative role that requires initiative, leadership, and excellent organisational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organise and manage sectoral working groups to support programme delivery
- Prepare and monitor project budgets and ensure delivery within agreed financial limits
- Build and maintain productive relationships with local government and external partners
- Report to Project and Programme Boards, including preparation of documentation and presentations
- Ensure alignment with LGMA policies and best practice governance
- Represent the organisation at sectoral meetings and forums
- Maintain well-documented policies, procedures, and workflows
- Oversee administrative and project-related tasks to ensure timely and effective outcomes
- Provide team leadership and clearly communicate roles, responsibilities, and deliverables
- Undertake additional duties as required at a similar level
Desirable Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and general ICT tools
- Familiarity with public procurement legislation
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a complex and evolving environment
- Strong planning, coordination, and resource management skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams or agencies
- Excellent organisational, analytical, reporting, and communication skills
