Rigid Truck Driver (C Licence)

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client in Cork for an experienced Rigid Truck Driver to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and professional driver seeking a stable position with a reputable employer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a rigid vehicle for scheduled deliveries and collections.
• Load and unload goods as required.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and ensure roadworthiness.
• Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and records.
• Provide excellent customer service when dealing with clients and customers.
• Adhere to all road traffic legislation, health & safety regulations, and company procedures.
• Report any vehicle defects, delays, or issues promptly.

Requirements:

• Full, clean C Licence (essential).
• Valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous experience driving rigid trucks.
• Good knowledge of Cork and surrounding areas.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules effectively.
• Excellent attention to safety and compliance standards.
