Job Title: Event Delivery Driver (C Licence)
Location: Dublin South
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Department: Logistics & Deliveries
Salary: €19 per hour (€39,500+ per annum based on 40 hours per week)
Hours: Average 40 hours per week, 5 days over 7

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and experienced C Licence Delivery Driver to join a busy logistics team supporting the events and hospitality sector across Dublin and surrounding areas.

This is a hands-on role that combines professional driving responsibilities with customer-facing service and physical delivery work. You will be responsible for delivering and collecting event equipment at a variety of venues and customer locations while ensuring excellent service, accuracy, and operational efficiency.

The successful candidate will play an important role in helping events run smoothly by ensuring equipment is delivered safely, on time, and in excellent condition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a rigid vehicle and complete daily delivery schedules.
  • Load and unload vehicles efficiently and securely.
  • Deliver and collect event hire equipment across Dublin and surrounding areas.
  • Ensure all deliveries and collections are completed accurately and on time.
  • Assist with the placement, positioning, and basic setup of equipment on-site when required.
  • Complete delivery documentation and obtain customer signatures.
  • Use trolleys, cages, and other handling equipment safely.
  • Conduct vehicle checks and report any issues promptly.
  • Provide a professional and courteous service to customers, venues, and event teams.
  • Work closely with warehouse and logistics colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations.

Requirements

  • Full, clean Category C Driving Licence.
  • Valid CPC certification with all required modules completed.
  • Minimum 1 year of rigid truck driving experience preferred.
  • Good knowledge of Dublin and surrounding routes.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Fluent English.
  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties.
  • Flexible approach to working hours, particularly during busy periods.
  • Manual Handling certification is an advantage.
  • Must be currently based in Ireland and legally entitled to work full-time.
  • Applicants must be 25 years of age or older due to vehicle insurance requirements.

Working Hours

  • Typical start time between 7:30am and 8:00am.
  • Rostered 5 days over 7, including occasional Saturday work.
  • Additional hours may be required during peak trading periods.
  • Average of 40 hours per week.

Important Information

This is a physically demanding role involving regular lifting, loading, unloading, and movement of event equipment. Assistance with unloading and on-site setup will be available on certain deliveries, but candidates should be comfortable with the physical nature of the work.
