We are seeking an experienced and analytical Revenue Manager to join our team. The Revenue Manager will be responsible for maximizing revenue and profitability by developing and implementing revenue management strategies, forecasting demand, and analyzing market trends.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement pricing and revenue management strategies that maximize revenue and profitability across all channels
- Analyze market trends and monitor competitor pricing strategies to ensure our pricing remains competitive
- Forecast demand and manage inventory levels to optimize revenue and occupancy rates
- Monitor and analyze booking patterns, room types, and lengths of stay to identify opportunities to increase revenue
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop promotional and pricing strategies that drive demand during low occupancy periods
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with third-party channels, such as online travel agencies and tour operators
- Manage the distribution of inventory to all channels, ensuring the most profitable mix is achieved
- Produce regular reports and analysis on revenue performance, market trends, and competitor activity
- Work with other departments, such as operations and finance, to ensure the revenue strategy is aligned with the overall business strategy
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Revenue Manager in the hospitality industry
- Strong analytical and financial skills, with experience in revenue management systems and tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Solid knowledge of hotel operations, distribution channels, and revenue management principles
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a strong sense of urgency
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, hospitality, or a related field
- Proficiency in revenue management systems, such as IDeaS, Duetto, or similar
