We are seeking a Restaurant Operations Manager to oversee the operations of a vibrant 80-seater bistro in the heart of Malahide, as well as a new 20-seater café in Portmarnock. This hands – on role combines management duties with day-to-day operations, making you a key player in our group’s success and growth. Working Hours: Must be available 5 days over 7. Hours vary dependant on business needs.

Shifts are mostly 8am-4pm, 9:30-4pm or 5pm – close.

Key Responsibilities:

• Staff Management: Lead, motivate, and manage a dedicated team to ensure exceptional service.
• Key Holder: Oversee opening and closing procedures, ensuring the café is secure and well-maintained.
• Rostering: Create and manage staff schedules for optimal coverage.
• Training: Train and develop staff to maintain high standards of service and efficiency.
• Stock Management: Monitor inventory, order supplies, and manage stock levels to minimize waste.
• Cash Management: Handle cash transactions, ensure accurate daily reconciliations, and manage financial aspects of the café.
• Front of House Duties: Greet and assist customers, manage table service, and ensure a welcoming atmosphere.

Requirements:

• Experience: 4 years in the hospitality industry, with ideally 2 years in a leadership/ supervisory role.
• Skills: Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills. Proficiency in cash handling and inventory management.
• Availability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Driving Licence: Own form of transportation as you would need to go between the 2 sites.
