Reservation Agent

Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Reservation Agent to join our Client team. The Reservation Agent will be responsible for handling incoming calls and online reservations in a professional and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Answering incoming calls and assisting guests with their reservation inquiries
• Processing online reservations and ensuring accuracy of information
• Providing information about hotel facilities, services, and room availability
• Handling guest requests and special accommodations
• Resolving any issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar role
• Proficient in using reservation and booking systems, such as Opera
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Knowledge of hotel facilities and local attractions is a plus

Day-to-day

The Reservation Agent will spend their day answering calls, managing online reservations, and assisting guests with their inquiries. They will also communicate with other team members to ensure that guest requests and special accommodations are handled effectively.

Hours

This is a full-time position with flexible scheduling. Evening and weekend availability may be required to accommodate peak booking times.
