Front Office Operations

  • Facilitating efficient reception desk operations.
  • Greeting guests in the reception and lobby areas warmly.
  • Delivering outstanding service to guests consistently.

  • Managing financial records and reports post-shift.
  • Coordinating room availability and guest requirements with the accommodation manager.
  • Liaising with tour guides for efficient group luggage management.
  • Managing communication for guests and managers, including message taking and delivery.
  • Optimizing room revenue through strategic rate management.
  • Ensuring accurate financial balances post-shift and preparing rooming lists with the reservations team.
  • Conducting routine cleaning tasks as needed.

Customer Service

  • Maintaining a commitment to efficient, friendly service.
  • Upholding our hotel’s key standards.
  • Providing a courteous telephone service.
  • Addressing guest complaints professionally to maintain our 4-star standard.
  • Cultivating a positive, collaborative work environment.

Health and Safety

  • Adhering to the hotel’s health, safety, and environmental policies.
  • Reporting any hazards, accidents, or incidents promptly.

Presentation and Grooming

  • Consistently wearing the correct uniform and name badge.
  • Maintaining high standards of personal hygiene and grooming.

Other Duties

  • Participating in relevant training sessions.
  • Volunteering for hotel committees as needed.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned by Management or assisting in other departments.

Requirements:

  • Proven customer care excellence.
  • 1 years of Front office experience in a hotel in Ireland.
  • Prior experience in a comparable setting.
  • Teamwork experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
