Quantity Surveyor

Confidential | Established Irish Head Contractor | Dublin

A well-established and highly respected Irish head contractor is seeking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team, based from the Dublin office. The business delivers a strong portfolio of commercial, hotel, and public & private sector projects across Ireland and continues to grow its presence in the Dublin market.

This opportunity will suit a Quantity Surveyor with a proven background in delivering construction projects in Ireland, operating within a main/head contractor environment.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for the commercial management of projects from pre-construction through to final account, working closely with site teams and senior management to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commercial management of live construction projects

  • Cost control, forecasting, and financial reporting

  • Preparation, submission, and agreement of valuations and variations

  • Procurement and commercial management of subcontractor packages

  • Risk and value management throughout the project lifecycle

  • Liaison with clients, consultants, and internal delivery teams

Candidate Profile

  • Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline

  • Proven experience delivering construction projects in Ireland

  • Background with a main/head contractor

  • Experience across commercial, hotel, and/or public sector projects

  • Strong understanding of Irish construction contracts and procurement routes

  • Commercially astute with strong communication and negotiation skills

  • Must have full working rights to work in Ireland
