Noel Group is looking to hire a candidate for a Purchasing Manager position for one of client to manage vendors and support in all Purchasing activities.

Job Title: Purchasing Manager

Location: Portlaoise, Co. Laois

Salary: €50,000

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage Vendors and the external spend within the agreed budget in the different areas like Energy, Maintenance, Packaging, Environment services etc.
  • Prepare and review of Purchasing Agreements and prepare weekly and monthly purchasing reports
  • Support Finance and Site Management in all Purchasing Activities
  • Maintain inter-departmental communication links and drive a culture of learning, innovation and collaboration

Essential Requirements:

  • CIPS Qualification or working towards CIPS
  • 3+ Yearsexperience in FMCG
  • Purchasing Process understanding
  • Negotiation skills
