Job Title: Plumber (Facilities Maintenance)

Contract Type: Permanent | Full-Time

Salary: €52,000 per annum

Role Overview

We are currently seeking a qualified and reliable Plumber to join the facilities team at a leading manufacturing and laboratory-based site in Swords, Co. Dublin. This is a varied, hands-on role within a dynamic environment where no two days are the same.

The successful candidate will be responsible for a broad range of plumbing, maintenance, and general site support duties, helping to ensure the safe and efficient operation of building services and site infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out general plumbing maintenance and repair works across the site
• Repair and maintain toilets, including seat replacements and unblocking (major drainage issues will be escalated to specialist contractors)
• Maintain and service taps, boilers, gas boilers, heaters, and circulation pumps
• Support monthly temperature monitoring and pH plant-related maintenance activities
• Perform daily site inspections and general facilities maintenance tasks
• Provide general labour and maintenance support as required to meet operational needs

Essential Requirements

• Fully qualified Plumber (Trade Certification required)
• Proven experience in plumbing maintenance, facilities management, or a similar environment
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider facilities team

Desirable Requirements

• Gas certification
• Experience working with deionised (DI) water systems
• Familiarity with a variety of piping systems, including:
  • Chemical-resistant piping
  • DI water systems
  • Waste and drainage systems
