Job Title: Pastry Chef / Baker
Location: Co. Wicklow
Salary: €35,000 per annum (daytime role)
The Noel Group is proud to partner with a prestigious client in the hospitality industry to recruit a Pastry Chef / Baker for their award-winning property in Co. Wicklow. This is a fantastic daytime role, perfect for a creative and passionate pastry professional who enjoys working with fresh, locally sourced ingredients in a beautiful setting.
As Pastry Chef / Baker, you will be responsible for producing high-quality pastries, breads, and desserts that showcase seasonal produce and align with the property’s commitment to excellence. You will work closely with the Head Chef and culinary team to develop menus, maintain standards, and delight guests with innovative creations.
Duties & Responsibilities

Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts to a consistently high standard.

Incorporate seasonal and garden-fresh ingredients into recipes.

Assist in menu planning and development of pastry and bakery items.

Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and hygiene within the pastry kitchen.

Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies when required.

Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations and cohesive menu delivery.

Uphold the property’s commitment to quality, creativity, and sustainability.
Requirements

Previous experience as a Pastry Chef or Baker in a hotel, restaurant, or artisan bakery.

Passion for seasonal, locally sourced ingredients and creative pastry-making.

Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, bread-making, and dessert preparation.

Excellent organisational and time-management skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Flexibility and creativity in developing new recipes.

Living in Ireland and have the right to work in the Republic of Ireland.
