Job Title: Pastry Chef

Noel Group is proud to partner with a prestigious 4-star coastal hotel to recruit an experienced Pastry Chef to join their culinary team.
This award-winning property is renowned for its high standards, strong focus on locally sourced ingredients, and commitment to delivering an exceptional dining experience in a luxury setting overlooking the Atlantic coastline.
The successful candidate will take ownership of the pastry section, creating high-quality desserts, breads, and baked goods while maintaining consistency, creativity, and excellence across all outlets including restaurant, banqueting, and events.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the pastry section on a day-to-day basis
- Prepare and present high-quality desserts, pastries, breads, and baked goods
- Develop innovative dessert menus in line with seasonal and locally sourced produce
- Ensure consistency in presentation, taste, and quality across all service periods
- Support banqueting and event production, including weddings and functions
- Maintain strict food safety, HACCP, and hygiene standards
- Monitor stock levels, minimise waste, and manage ordering within budget
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff within the pastry section
- Work closely with the Head Chef and wider kitchen team to deliver exceptional guest experiences
Key Requirements
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience as a Pastry Chef or senior pastry role in a hotel or high-volume kitchen
- Experience in a 4-star or 5-star hotel environment preferred
- Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, baking, and dessert presentation
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- HACCP and food safety knowledge essential
- A passion for seasonal, locally sourced ingredients
- Team player with a positive and proactive attitude
