The Noel group is recruiting for a Food and Beverage Manager in a 4 star hotel in county Cork. The food and beverage manager will be hands on, spending time with staff & customers, building relationships. This Food and beverage manager role is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in the hospitality industry and take the next step.

Responsibilities of the food and beverage manager:

  • Oversee and manage all catering outlets in the hotel to meet required standards.
  • Ensure a hands on approach to your management style.
  • Ensure guests receive a genuine, warm, friendly, and courteous welcome upon arrival and throughout their stay.
  • Anticipate guests needs.
  • Manage the roster for all on-the-ground food & beverage and conferencing & banqueting staff
  • Maintain the highest standards of personal hygiene, dress, appearance, body language, and conduct.
  • Assist with coaching and training of new staff as much as reasonably possible.
  • Maintain effective communication and good relationships with management and all other departments.
  • Ensure prompt and efficient service of all meals, snacks, functions, and beverages to the required standards.
  • Support the General Manager with the day-to-day running of all hotel operations and deputize in their absence.
