Manager – Corporate sector lending

Overview:
An international financial institution is seeking an experienced Corporate Lending professional to join its team. This role offers the opportunity to manage a portfolio of global corporate clients, focusing on the origination, structuring, and execution of complex lending transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of multinational corporate clients, driving the origination and execution of large and complex lending deals.

• Lead end-to-end deal execution in collaboration with internal stakeholders such as Relationship Management, Syndications, Capital Structuring, Advisory, and Debt Capital Markets teams.

• Conduct detailed commercial and credit analysis on new lending opportunities, including qualitative and quantitative due diligence, financial modelling, and stress testing.

• Prepare and present credit proposals in line with internal policies and approval processes.

• Oversee ongoing portfolio management, including regular reviews, monitoring of client performance, market developments, and early warning indicators.

• Manage documentation and transaction due diligence, working closely with internal or external legal counsel.

Experience & Skills Required:

• Minimum 4 years’ experience within the financial services sector, ideally in a corporate credit or lending role.

• Strong understanding of capital markets and corporate banking products.

• Proven ability to conduct in-depth financial and credit analysis.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Capable of working autonomously while collaborating effectively across teams.

• Experience managing the documentation and due diligence process through to transaction completion.

• Quick to learn and adapt to new products and transaction structures.
