We are looking to recruit a Maintenance Manager on behalf of our growing client, based in Co Westmeath. Our client manufactures innovative products for customers worldwide and has a world-class manufacturing operation with significant investment in automation, technology, and advanced production processes.

In this role you will be responsible for the Maintenance Department and drive operational excellence across the plant with direct responsibility for Toolmakers, Fitters, Welders, Facilities staff and maintenance administration.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Prioritise maintenance and repairs in line with production requirements.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the maintenance team, including performance management.
  • Develop and deliver a robust Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) strategy.
  • Drive continuous improvement and ensure achievement of all maintenance KPIs.
  • Control maintenance-related expenditure and develop cost-effective plans.
  • Conduct risk assessments and maintain compliance with all H&S and environmental standards.
  • Manage technical documentation for all plant, machinery, and software.
  • Maintain compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and other relevant standards.
  • Manage uptime reporting, data analysis, and daily performance graphing.

Minimum requirements

  • Previous experience working as a maintenance technician or toolmaker
  • 3+ years management experience
  • Previous experience in a metal manufacturing environment
  • Ability to operate on rotating shifts – day, evening, night on a Monday to Friday basis
  • Be living in Westmeath or surrounding areas with own transport
