Catering Assistant / Deli Assistant – Kildare & Newbridge

Location: Kildare / Newbridge
Hours: Part-Time & Full-Time

We are currently looking for experienced Catering Assistants / Deli Assistants to join our team for work across catering venues, delis, cafés, events and functions in the Kildare and Newbridge area.

Please note: Applicants must be based in Kildare, Newbridge or the surrounding areas.

Requirements

• Previous deli, catering or food service experience is essential
• Experience preparing and serving food
• Good knowledge of food hygiene and food safety
• HACCP certification is an advantage
• Excellent customer service skills
• Friendly and positive attitude
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Good attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Flexible with working hours

Main Responsibilities

• Preparing and serving food in a deli/catering environment
• Taking customer orders and providing excellent service
• Preparing sandwiches, salads and other deli items
• Maintaining food displays and ensuring products are presented correctly
• Restocking food and catering supplies
• Cleaning and maintaining food preparation and service areas
• Following HACCP, food safety and hygiene procedures
• Washing equipment and keeping the kitchen/deli area clean and organised
• Assisting with general catering duties when required
