About the Role

We are proud to be representing a well-established contractor in the civil engineering and construction sector who are seeking to hire a Junior Civil Engineer. This role is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with local groundworks experience, particularly with a strong focus on documentation, reporting, and compliance. The successful candidate will gain exposure to a variety of projects across Ireland while developing their career within a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing, maintaining, and reviewing project documentation and reports
• Support senior engineers and project teams in day-to-day operations across civil projects
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality, and safety requirements
• Contribute to site inspections, surveys, and technical data collection
• Provide administrative and engineering support to ensure smooth project delivery
• Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues in a professional manner

Experience & Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent qualification)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience delivering civil engineering projects in Ireland
• Prior local groundworks experience is essential
• Strong focus on documentation, compliance, and reporting accuracy
• Knowledge of infrastructure and general civil engineering practices an advantage
• Proficient in MS Office and relevant engineering software (AutoCAD, etc.) desirable
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Fluent in English (written & spoken)
