Junior Accountant

Job description

Our client is a fast-growing gaming company, and we’re looking for a Junior Accountant to join their team at this exciting phase of our journey. This remote position offers flexibility while requiring a dedicated focus on ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full cycle of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Oversee credit control, ensuring timely collections.
• Perform bank reconciliations and payment provider reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
• Ensure precise data entry and bookkeeping within accounting software.
• Handle payroll processing, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time.
• Conduct a cost analysis and review company expenses to identify areas for improvement.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Generate comprehensive weekly and monthly financial reports for management.
• Provide general support for office administration when required.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
• iGaming industry experience is required to navigate financial and regulatory complexities.
• Proficient in Sage Line 50 and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with payment provider reconciliations and handling finances across multiple jurisdictions.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
• Capable of working autonomously and taking initiative in a remote work environment.
• Flexible and proactive, with the ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment.
