Noel Group are delighted to be currently recruiting for a Human Resources Executive to join the team at a well-established hotel in Cork. This is a full-time, Monday to Friday role, with some flexibility possible. The HR Executive will oversee day-to-day HR activities and report to the General Manager and Group HR Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily administrative duties within the HR department.
  • Foster a culture of employee engagement through transparent communication and effective management.
  • Handle employee queries promptly and efficiently.
  • Support Heads of Department with recruitment, training, performance management, employee development, and talent planning.
  • Oversee recruitment processes, from advertising and screening to on-boarding.
  • Ensure new hires are provided with necessary documentation and training, ensuring a smooth and positive on-boarding experience.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance, aiming for a paperless HR environment.
  • Ensure the hotel meets all statutory training requirements and arrange refresher training as needed.
  • Assist with the disciplinary process and employee grievances, ensuring compliance with company procedures.
  • Submit weekly payroll data to the payroll department.
  • Lead the delivery of any group-wide HR projects/initiatives within the hotel.
  • Maintain regular communication with Heads of Department and the management team.
  • Monitor and manage absenteeism.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A qualification in Human Resources Management (or working towards one).
  • At least 3 years’ experience in an HR role.
  • Strong knowledge of Irish employment law and best practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and conflict management abilities.
  • A proactive, emotionally intelligent individual who can handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
