Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the premises is sufficiently staffed at all times.
- Manage staff attendance, ensuring all team members are on duty on time.
- Uphold company policies related to staff employment, including disciplinary procedures and grievance handling.
- Communicate regularly with employees, HR, and senior management on performance, customer care, timekeeping, and work quality.
- Prepare, agree upon, and post weekly staff rosters in advance.
- Ensure company policies regarding bullying, sexual harassment, and smoking are prominently displayed and adhered to.
- Foster an atmosphere of friendliness, teamwork, customer care, hygiene, and cooperation among staff, organizing training or re-training as needed.
- Seek advice on labour legislation to ensure all actions comply with legal requirements.
- Motivate and support staff to enhance performance, engagement, and job satisfaction.
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage staff performance and resolve issues effectively.
- Knowledge of labour legislation and best practices in employee relations.
