Hotel Administrator (Part-Time)
Location: Leixlip, Co. Kildare
Hours: Part-time, approx. 25.5 hours per week (3-3.5 days)
Rate: €18 per hour
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established 4-star hotel in Leixlip, for an experienced Hotel Administrator to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional and organised individual looking to further their career within a successful and busy hotel environment.
The Role:
This is a part-time position, averaging 25.5 hours per week across 3-3.5 days. The core days of work will typically be Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, however flexibility is required, and occasional weekend or public holiday work may be necessary depending on business levels.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the administration and cash office.

Carry out till and cash reconciliations.

Maintain the security of all cash and cash equivalents.

Prepare dockets for accounts payable.

Manage the purchase order system.
-
Compile weekly payroll reports for Head Office.

Manage debtors and voucher systems.

Perform general administrative duties as required.

Support HR functions, including:

Maintenance of staff files and records
-
HR-related administrative tasks
-
Management of annual leave tracking

Oversight of the Strandum HR Suite System

Participate in the hotel’s Health & Safety agenda.
Candidate Requirements:

Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a similar administrative role (hotel administration experience desirable).

Ability to multitask and assist other departments when required.

HR administration experience is advantageous but not essential.

Knowledge of finance reports and reconciliation processes.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn.
