Role: Accounts Payable Administrator
Location: Galway
Salary: €38,000 per annum
The Noel Group is proud to partner with a prestigious client in the hospitality industry to search for an Accounts Payable Administrator in Galway.
This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end accounts payable process, ensuring supplier invoices, payments, and reconciliations are completed accurately and efficiently. The successful candidate will support the finance team in maintaining strong financial controls and delivering timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the Accounts Payable function using Procure Wizard and Sage 50 Accounts.
- Receive, review, and manage supplier invoices.
- Handle purchase order queries and resolve discrepancies.
- Process supplier invoices accurately and within agreed timelines.
- Maintain strong supplier relationships and respond to queries promptly.
- Prepare and process supplier payment runs.
- Manage vendor accounts, including new supplier setup and account maintenance.
- Monitor bank balances and assess cash flow requirements.
- Work closely with the Financial Controller, purchasing department, and accounts team to resolve financial queries.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly and annual accounts.
- Manage employee expenses and company credit card reconciliations.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, including process automation.
- Maintain and update finance procedures, policies, and documentation.
- Assist with year-end audits and liaise with external auditors.
- Provide administrative and ad hoc support to the Accounts team.
Requirements:
- Accounting or bookkeeping qualification.
- 2 to 3 years’ experience in an Accounts Payable or finance position.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Positive, proactive, and professional approach to work.
- Must have experience in Hospitality.
- Must have experience in the same role or be ready to step forward in their career.
- Living in Ireland and have the right to work in ROI.
- Visa and relocation packages are not provided.
