Job Description:

We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) to join our team. As an HCA, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily activities of patients and residents, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care. This is a flexible agency position, offering you the opportunity to work in various healthcare settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, and residential care facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting patients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Supporting patients with mobility and physical exercises
  • Assisting with meal preparation and feeding
  • Monitoring and recording vital signs
  • Providing emotional support and companionship to patients
  • Assisting nursing staff with medical tasks as required
  • Ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients


  • QQI Level 5 Major Award in Healthcare Support with all 8 modules completed
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Reliable and punctual with strong organizational skills
