Role: Head Chef
Location: Galway City Centre
Salary: €50,000 – €60,000 (DOE)

The Noel Group is proud to partner with a prestigious client in the hospitality industry to search for a Head Chef in Galway.
We are seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead and manage all kitchen operations. This is a senior leadership role requiring strong culinary expertise, operational control, and the ability to consistently deliver high-quality food in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the full kitchen operation, ensuring consistent food quality and standards.

  • Drive sales and maintain high presentation and preparation standards across all food outlets.

  • Manage, motivate, and develop a busy kitchen team in a high-volume environment.

  • Ensure full compliance with HACCP, food safety, and health & safety regulations.

  • Control food waste, stock usage, and kitchen operating costs effectively.

  • Manage food costs in line with agreed budgets and business targets.

  • Develop innovative, seasonal, and customer-focused menu offerings.

  • Work closely with senior management on service planning and operational delivery.

The Candidate

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Head Chef.

  • Proven experience in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality venue.

  • Strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety, and kitchen compliance.

  • Demonstrated experience in menu development and cost control.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

  • Ability to work to KPIs, deadlines, and operational targets.

Requirements

  • Must have experience in Hospitality.

  • Must have experience in the same role or be ready to step forward in their career.

  • Must be living in Ireland with the right to work in ROI.

  • Visa and relocation packages are not provided.
