Head Chef – Contract Catering
Cork | €55,000 per annum

The Noel Group is proud to partner with a prestigious client in the hospitality industry to search for a talented and driven Head Chef to lead the kitchen operations for a high-volume contract catering site in Cork.
As Head Chef, you will be responsible for the overall culinary operations of a busy, multi-outlet contract catering unit. You will lead and inspire a professional kitchen team, deliver high-quality food consistently, manage budgets and suppliers, and uphold the highest standards in food safety and service. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate culinary professional to showcase leadership in a progressive and structured kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure smooth service delivery.

Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of chefs and kitchen staff.

Plan and deliver seasonal, on-trend menus aligned with client and customer expectations.

Manage stock levels, suppliers, and ordering in line with budget requirements.

Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety, and hygiene regulations at all times.

Monitor food presentation and quality standards.

Collaborate with senior management and front-of-house teams to enhance the customer experience.

Maintain records, costings, and kitchen documentation to meet audit and reporting standards.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-volume catering, hotel, or restaurant environment.

Strong knowledge of HACCP and food safety procedures.

Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

Passion for innovation, food trends, and delivering high-quality dishes.

Ability to manage budgets, control costs, and achieve operational targets.

Flexibility to work shifts, including some weekends as required.

Must currently reside in Ireland and have the right to work in the Republic of Ireland.
