HEAD CHEF wanted for an outdoor food venue for our renowned West Cork client.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, fun, dynamic and passionate about world flavours and street food cooking. You will be in charge of a team of 4 and will be the source of inspiration and drive for the rest of the team.
You will be responsible for coming up with weekly specials.
The successful candidate will have:
Management and organisational skills, team player & the ability to work under pressure.
A proven track record in driving quality standards
A progressive attitude towards learning and implementing new dishes
An ability to lead by example within a fast-paced kitchen environment
To ensure that all hygiene & HACCP regulations are strictly adhered to always
You will be required to:
To give direction to your department colleagues
To ensure that all dishes are prepared in a timely fashion while holding high standards
To ensure that all staff adhere to appropriate systems of hygiene during food preparation & storage
To work in accordance with health & safety legislation’s and to report any faults to equipment to the executive head chef
To have knowledge of street food concepts
