Noel Group are looking for full time Goods Inwards operative for a morning shift in Blarney, Cork.

Responsibilities

  • Receive deliveries from suppliers and transport companies.
  • Unload vehicles safely using appropriate equipment.
  • Check incoming goods against purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices.
  • Inspect products for damage, defects, or shortages.
  • Record receipt of goods using warehouse management systems (WMS) or stock control systems.
  • Label and store goods in designated warehouse locations.
  • Report discrepancies, damaged items, or missing stock to supervisors.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures.
  • Keep the goods-in area clean, organized, and free from hazards.
  • Assist with stock counts and inventory audits.
  • Work with warehouse, purchasing, and production teams to ensure smooth stock flow.

Requirements

  • Manual Handing training
  • Previous warehouse or goods-in experience preferred.
  • Basic computer and data-entry skills.
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of health and safety practices.
  • Forklift licence (advantageous).
  • Good communication skills.
