General operative ( concrete & shutttering experience)

Job description

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Operative with experience in concrete works and shuttering (formwork). The successful candidate will support operations, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation, pouring, and finishing of concrete
• Erect, align, and dismantle shuttering/formwork systems
• Support skilled tradespeople on-site as required
• Operate basic hand and power tools safely
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment
• Load and unload materials and equipment
• Follow site drawings and supervisor instructions
• Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations
• Report any hazards or issues to site management

Requirements

• Proven experience in concrete works and shuttering/formwork
• Manual Handling certification
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently
• Good physical fitness and stamina
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Basic understanding of construction site practices

Shift

• Morning shift 6am to 3pm
