We are seeking a skilled and experienced Front Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Client hotel’s front desk and reception area.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with excellent communication and organizational skills, who can ensure a seamless guest experience from check-in to check-out.
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise the front desk and reception staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
- Ensure efficient and friendly check-in and check-out processes for guests
- Oversee room reservations and ensure accurate and timely processing
- Maintain a professional and welcoming environment at the front desk
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a timely and courteous manner
- Monitor and maintain the hotel’s reservation system (Opera or similar)
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure a high level of guest satisfaction
- Implement and enforce hotel policies and procedures to ensure smooth operations
- Assist in resolving any operational issues that may arise
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a front office or receptionist role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management position
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in hotel management software such as Opera
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Understanding of hotel operations and guest service principles
- Diploma or degree in hospitality management or a related field is a plus
Day-to-day
- Overseeing front desk operations
- Training and supervising front desk staff
- Managing guest inquiries and requests
- Ensuring smooth check-in and check-out processes
- Collaborating with other hotel departments
- Resolving operational issues as they arise
Hours
Full-time, 40 hours per week. Some evening and weekend shifts may be required to oversee front desk operations.
