About the Role:

Noel Group are currently recruiting for an experienced Front Office Manager on behalf of a leading four-star hotel group in Cork.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hospitality professional with strong leadership experience in front office operations, guest relations, reservations, and team management. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of reception and reservations while delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining the highest service standards.

The ideal candidate will be highly organised, commercially aware, guest-focused, and passionate about hospitality excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the daily operations of the Front Office and Reservations departments
  • Ensure all guests receive a professional, warm, and efficient service throughout their stay
  • Manage reception, reservations, and night operations in line with company standards
  • Drive upselling and maximise room revenue opportunities
  • Handle guest feedback and resolve issues promptly and professionally
  • Oversee staff training, performance management, and rota planning
  • Maintain excellent communication with all hotel departments including housekeeping, sales, events, and food & beverage
  • Monitor cash handling procedures, billing accuracy, and front office controls
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety, and GDPR procedures
  • Support the senior management team with operational and commercial objectives

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a Front Office Management role within a hotel environment
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent guest service and communication abilities
  • Experience managing reservations and front office systems
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Commercial awareness with an ability to drive revenue opportunities
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and business peak periods where required
  • Professional presentation and attention to detail
  • Experience with hotel PMS systems such as Hotsoft or similar would be advantageous
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken
