Front of the House Supervisor

Job description

Noel Group is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Front of House Supervisor to join the team and oversee the smooth operation of our client’s canteen. Our client is a leading provider of catering services, renowned for delivering exceptional food and customer service.

The front-of-house supervisor would be working closely with the chef manager and helping manage all day-to-day operations. Overlook and manage front-of-house staff and ensure the canteen is running smoothly.

Please note that only applicants living in Ireland will be considered for this role. All applicants must have all the required documents to work in ROI. No visa sponsorship is provided for this position.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day activities of the front-of-house staff to ensure efficient and smooth service.
• Work closely with the chef manager and help manage daily operations.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing complaints and resolving issues promptly.
• Train, mentor, and manage front-of-house staff, ensuring they adhere to company policies and standards.
• Supervise the setup and closing of the canteen area, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for service.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe environment for both staff and customers.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely ordering and restocking of supplies.

Requirements:

• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
• Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage.
• Previous deli experience is required, basic food preparation knowledge would be an advantage.
• A positive attitude with a commitment to providing excellent customer service and maintaining high standards.
