Forklift Driver

Job description

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver to join a busy logistics operation on a full-time night shift basis.

The Role

As part of the warehouse team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient handling of goods within a fast-paced environment. Duties will include:

• Loading and unloading trucks using a counterbalance forklift
• Scanning and sorting freight accurately
• Organising stock within the warehouse to maximise efficiency
• Identifying and reporting any damages or discrepancies
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Working collaboratively with team members to meet operational targets

Requirements

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential)
• Manual Handling Certificate (essential)
• Previous warehouse experience in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
• Reliable with excellent timekeeping
• Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
