Job Title: Food & Beverage Assistant

Location: Co. Sligo

Role Type: Full-time / Part-time (depending on business needs)

Reports To: Food & Beverage Manager / Restaurant Manager


About the Role:

We at Noel Group are currently recruiting Food & Beverage Assistants on behalf of a prestigious hospitality venue in Co. Sligo. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a high-quality dining and events environment, delivering outstanding service to guests across restaurant, bar, and function areas. The successful candidate will be professional, customer-focused, and passionate about hospitality, with a strong commitment to service excellence.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a friendly, professional, and efficient food and beverage service at all times
  • Prepare and set up restaurant, bar, and event spaces to the required standard
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and ensure timely service
  • Maintain strong knowledge of menus, beverages, and daily specials
  • Ensure tables and service areas are clean, organised, and presented to a high standard
  • Support weddings, banquets, and special events as required
  • Adhere to all health, safety, hygiene, and HACCP procedures
  • Respond to guest requests and queries in a professional manner, escalating issues when necessary
  • Work closely with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service delivery
  • Follow company service standards, policies, and procedures

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a food and beverage or hospitality role is desirable
  • Bar experience is an advantage but not essential
  • A genuine interest in hospitality and guest service
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A positive, flexible, and team-focused attitude
  • Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
  • High attention to detail and professional personal presentation
