Job Title: Food & Beverage Assistant
Location: Co. Sligo
Role Type: Full-time / Part-time (depending on business needs)
Reports To: Food & Beverage Manager / Restaurant Manager
About the Role:
We at Noel Group are currently recruiting Food & Beverage Assistants on behalf of a prestigious hospitality venue in Co. Sligo. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a high-quality dining and events environment, delivering outstanding service to guests across restaurant, bar, and function areas. The successful candidate will be professional, customer-focused, and passionate about hospitality, with a strong commitment to service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver a friendly, professional, and efficient food and beverage service at all times
- Prepare and set up restaurant, bar, and event spaces to the required standard
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and ensure timely service
- Maintain strong knowledge of menus, beverages, and daily specials
- Ensure tables and service areas are clean, organised, and presented to a high standard
- Support weddings, banquets, and special events as required
- Adhere to all health, safety, hygiene, and HACCP procedures
- Respond to guest requests and queries in a professional manner, escalating issues when necessary
- Work closely with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service delivery
- Follow company service standards, policies, and procedures
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in a food and beverage or hospitality role is desirable
- Bar experience is an advantage but not essential
- A genuine interest in hospitality and guest service
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive, flexible, and team-focused attitude
- Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- High attention to detail and professional personal presentation
