The Noel Group is proud to partner with a prestigious client in the hospitality industry to recruit an experienced Financial Controller for their high-performing hotel property located in the heart of Dublin City Centre.
This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring robust financial controls, and supporting strategic decision-making within a busy hospitality environment. The Financial Controller will lead the finance function on-site, producing accurate financial reports, managing budgets, ensuring compliance with company financial policies, and driving best practices across the property’s operations. This role works closely with senior management to deliver strong financial performance and maintain the highest standards of financial governance.
Key Duties & Responsibilities

Produce accurate financial reports including forecasting revenue, costs, profitability, P&L accounts, and budget packs.

Report and reconcile daily revenue to ensure all income streams are correctly captured.

Oversee the processing of purchase orders and invoices, ensuring correct coding to nominal accounts and adherence to financial policy.

Process supplier payments in line with company timelines; manage supplier queries and reconcile statements.

Liaise with Group Payroll for payroll processing, ensure timely EFT payments, and complete monthly PAYE reconciliation.

Maintain effective credit control practices, ensuring timely debt collection in line with company policy.

Manage franchise debtor and creditor reconciliations.

Prepare monthly management accounts in line with company policy and bank reporting requirements.

Ensure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled and reviewed monthly.

Complete and submit bi-monthly VAT returns.

Implement and support property operating policies and procedures.

Coordinate and support external and internal financial audits.
Requirements
-
Previous experience as a Financial Controller or Finance Manager within hospitality, hotel, or multisite environments.

Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.

Strong IT and systems skills, including financial software and Excel.

Proven ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication skills and ability to work with non-financial managers.

Must be living in Ireland and have the right to work in the Republic of Ireland.
