The Noel Group is a leading recruitment agency operating nationwide across various markets.
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Facility Manager to oversee the operations of multiple facilities between Monaghan and Castlebar. This role involves ensuring the efficient management and maintenance of facilities, promoting a safe and productive environment for all occupants.
Our client is a prominent organization with facilities spanning across Ireland. They are committed to maintaining high standards of operation and are looking for a Facility Manager to uphold these standards across their locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of multiple facilities, ensuring they are maintained to the highest standards.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules for building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
- Manage a team of maintenance staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across all facilities.
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized maintenance and repairs.
- Monitor and manage facility budgets, including forecasting and cost control.
- Implement energy-saving initiatives to reduce operational costs.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and facility inspections.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for facility-related issues and emergencies.
Requirements:
- Relevant 3 rd level qualification (e.g. Building Services Engineer, Facilities management or equivalent). E
- Experience in tendering for services and project/contract management.
- 3-5 years’ experience in similar role
- Previous experience in a hands on M&E role.
- Experience in facilities management or building services industry/consultancy.
- Expertise or familiarity with M&E, HVAC and refrigerated equipment.
- Familiarity with Building Management Systems.
- Experience in project management and overseeing the work of external contractors.
- Experience in building environmental/energy efficiency.
- Strong IT skills, including good working knowledge of suite of MS Office applications (essential) and relevant facility management software, such as AutoCad
- Living in Ireland with the right to work in the Republic of Ireland.
- Visa and relocation packages are not provided.
Salary:
- The position offers a salary of €50,000
