Key Responsibilities: Independently assess on-site requirements, develop fabrication solutions, and complete projects with minimal supervision. Carry out basic electrical installations and repairs including switches and socket replacements, bulb changes, floor box repairs, conduit and trunking repairs. Perform plumbing maintenance including pipework repairs, drain and sanitaryware unblocking, and fixture installations. Support HVAC maintenance works including filter changes, AHU cleaning, ductwork, and pipework maintenance. Complete building fabric and carpentry works including frameworks, shelving, partitions, painting, locks, and ironmongery. Fabricate and modify brackets, platforms, guards, supports, and custom fixtures. Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively across multiple trades. Assist with cable pulling, pipe fitting, ductwork installation, timber structures, flooring, and related maintenance tasks. Carry out groundskeeping duties including litter picking, gritting, walkway clearing, and minor landscaping works. Move furniture, materials, and equipment across sites as required. Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and time spent. Ensure all works comply with relevant safety standards and regulations. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Adhere strictly to Health & Safety procedures and PPE requirements.
Requirements: Previous experience in a multi-trade, fabrication, maintenance, or skilled labouring role. Strong practical knowledge of Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, and Carpentry works. Confident using hand and power tools relevant to multiple trades. Good understanding of site safety procedures and health & safety regulations. Physically fit and capable of manual handling, working at heights, working in confined spaces, and standing or walking for extended periods. Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Qualification in Electrical or Plumbing required. Eligibility to work in Ireland.
Desirable Skills & Certifications: Valid CSCS card or trade-specific certifications. Additional trade or safety-related training/certifications. Knowledge of building codes and compliance standards. First Aid, Manual Handling, and Working at Height training. Full Irish Driving Licence. Experience in facilities maintenance, commercial, or residential environments.
