Experienced warehouse operative

Job description

Noel Group are looking for an experienced warehouse operative for a day shift in Ballymount, South Dublin.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods while maintaining high standards of accuracy, safety, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Receiving, unloading, and checking incoming deliveries
• Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch
• Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet trucks (if licensed)
• Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
• Conducting stock checks and inventory control
• Maintaining accurate records using warehouse management systems
• Ensuring the warehouse is kept clean, organised, and safe
• Following health and safety procedures at all times
• Reporting damages, shortages, or quality issues

Requirements

• Previous warehouse experience (minimum 1 year preferred)
• Good understanding of warehouse operations and procedures
• Ability to lift heavy items and perform manual handling tasks
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Basic IT skills for stock systems

Desirable Skills

• Experience with RF scanners
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations
• Experience in fast-paced distribution environments
